SOULMATES NEVER DIE
11/8/2009

Nedko Solakov

Nedko Solakov

Los Carpinteros

Paper Cities

Architecture, I don't truly have an idea what it is. If start with the shapes of the buildings, I'd love to see a whole city is filled with all cuboid buildings.

Winter Wonderland

EVERYONE!!!!

Mold of the fawn
I have been frozen there for days
With headlights reflecting in my face
I must be cold on your lawn

But inside I'm okay
I can live without your time
Where snowmen never melt
Instead they all went shy

And if you don't believe in fantasy
Then don't believe in fantasy
Do you not believe in fantasy because it gets you down?
If you don't believe it's raining
I won't tell you that it's raining
Do you not believe it's raining just because it gets you down?
And if you don't believe in happiness
Then don't believe in happiness
If you don't believe in happiness then man you must be down
If you don't believe you're dying
I won't tell you that you're dying
But do you not believe you're dying just because it gets you down?

Our homes are all white
And we go dancing on the lake
And sleds will carry us tonight
And snowflakes will blow us on our way

Drifts rise to the sky
Rainbow hats fly down them
And tears are frozen diamonds
So we smile when we're crying

And if you don't believe in fantasy
Then don't believe in fantasy
Do you not believe in fantasy because it gets you down?
If you don't believe it's raining
I won't tell you that it's raining
Do you not believe it's raining just because it gets you down?
And if you don't believe in happiness
Then don't believe in happiness
If you don't believe in happiness then man you must be down
If you don't believe you're dying
I won't tell you that you're dying
But do you not believe you're dying just because it gets you down?

drawings

Watercolors
Drawings
In-Progress

George Shaw

An Experience

According to my theory of proportion, more students in a school means more stupid suckers. However, I didn't assume or imagine that person can be wearing the same uniform as I do before. Did I give too much expectations?

I took #52 bus home as usual. There's a guy from the "Big School" (refers to NFLS main campus) who is playing music on his cell-phone soooo OUT AND LOUD! I was just think if all the gay people can be so out and loud and proud as he does while sharing his masterpiece music with others, then the whole world can be so "gay", I bet everyone will wear a smile. I looked at that guy twice and he looked seems so "confident" and "calm". I was IMPRESSED indeed.
I am expecting I can meet this guy agian around the school, during lunch-time, after school, whatever. I am not planning to humiliate him anyway...instead I believe I truly need to find him and tell him that

"I was so impressed by your courage, and independent way to show yourself, and be yourself!
Do you still remember me? I was standing right beside you that day you played music on cell-phone!
I admire you!!! you know? you're so different. You got the GUTS!!!"

After stepping out that bus, I thought the advanced technology are really helping out these "introverts". At least, they finally figured out some other special devices, like brilliant cell-phones! oh... the angel cell-phones.

Francis Alÿs

Francis Alÿs WIKI LINK
Institute of Architecture in Tournai 和 Istituto di Architettura in Venice 学习。

David Zwirner

Imaginary Scene

This is the scene I can see right now in my mind, with clear images.
I standing right in front of you, stretching out my arms, and with a blur smile on my face. I say:
"see? I've changed.It's a brand new m. well, hopefully."
I can see this scene, and obviously, I can't tell what will you say.
or you're gonna tell me that you'd never interested in weather I can change or not.
or you're gonna emphasize that I can't change anyway.
Nails on the wooden fence, the holes will always be there. right?
